Why You Should Use Cranial Nerve Interactive
Learning the twelve cranial nerves takes more than memorizing a list! This game lets you watch each nerve at work, with animated eyes, faces, ears and organs, then practice putting the nerves in order and show that you know what each one does. It works on computers, tablets and phones, and a built-in score sheet keeps track of how you are doing.
How to Use Cranial Nerve Interactive
1. Type your name when the game asks for it. This keeps your progress and score together, even on a shared device.
2. Explore: click each nerve, I through XII, and watch its demonstrations. A nerve counts as explored after its demo has played for 5 seconds.
3. Level 1: Order: put the twelve nerves in the correct order. Tap a nerve, then tap the numbered spot where it belongs (or drag it). You can retake it as many times as you like, and your best round counts.
4. Level 2: Functions: answer 12 questions, one for each nerve. Some show an animated clue and ask which nerve it is. Others ask what a nerve does.
5. Mnemonics: need a memory trick? Check out the rhyme for the order of the nerves and the one for sensory, motor, or both.
6. Score Sheet: see your score out of 100. If your teacher asked you to submit it, enter their email address and your class period. If you opened this from your school's learning management system, your score is sent to the gradebook for you automatically as it goes up!
How Your Score Works

You can retake the levels to improve your score, and only your best rounds count.
